Our History
MAYFIELD COLLISION CENTERS started May 15, 1989 by our President and Founder, Tom Griffin. Before opening MCC, Tom spent 18 years in the automotive business -- mostly on Service Management Teams at eastside New Car Dealers. The last 10 years, just prior to opening MCC, was spent at Motorcars Honda. Beginning in 1979 as a Service Advisor and moving up through the ranks to Assistant General Manager. Being awarded with numerous Customer satisfaction awards and receiving extensive training in Automotive management and Customer service. His passion for creating Extraordinary Customer Care Experiences is what continues to drive him and everyone at MAYFIELD COLLISION CENTERS Yes, we do a great job of fixing cars, but more importantly, we do a great job with our Customer service. Being involved in an accident is a hassle and confusing ordeal. There are many questions, concerns and myths. We pride ourselves on walking people through this process, explaining their options and making it as hassle-free as possible for them.
Our commitment to extraordinary Customer Care combined with our integrity and personalized service has helped us become one of the largest and most recognized Auto Body Shops in the Cleveland market. MCC is recommended by most all Insurance Companies and is the Preferred Provider for State Farm Insurance, Nationwide, USAA, Grange, Liberty Mutual, Westfield, SAFECO, Erie, Indiana, and Ohio Casualty Insurance. Additionally, many new car Dealers, numerous mechanical repair shops, and Fleet companies also refer us. We are very honored by this fact because we realize that there are over 400 other Shops that they can choose from. And these Companies all want the best for their Customers.
