IS A DEALERSHIP BODY SHOP A BETTER OPTION TO FIX MY CAR?
No. While there are few Dealership run body shops that are serious
about the best possible Customer Care experience, most Dealerships
don’t even have their own body shop and those that do often are
simply “subletting it out” to an Independent Operator who is running
it for them. We are proud to do referral work for many New Car
Dealerships in Cleveland. They genuinely care about their customers
and know that we deliver that.
CAN I CHOOSE WHO FIXES MY CAR?
You ! That’s the law. It’s your car and you must live with whoever fixes your car–good or bad-- even if you followed someone else’s recommendation IE your Dealership, Lease Company, Insurance Company, etc.
WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR WHEN CHOOSING WHO SHOULD FIX MY CAR?
A clean shop with accreditations that employs people who are professional-looking, certified, personable, open & honest. If they don’t take pride in themselves,
their operation & or their profession, how are they going to take care of you and your vehicle ??? Additionally, things like being able to watch your car repairs on-line indicates they are
open, honest & offer state of the art technology. Ask yourself, is this the type of Company that I feel comfortable with ? Do they demonstrate that they care about their Customers ?
Nowadays, its as much about the Customer service experience as it is about fixing cars well…
DO I NEED TO GET 3 ESTIMATES?
NO ! That never was the law and it isn’t now. With the way vehicles are designed and engineered, it’s next to impossible to give an accurate estimate and certainly not an exact price on the repair cost. Most Customer-oriented Insurance Companies realize this fact and no longer ask you to waste your time by getting multiple estimates.
With the way vehicles are designed & engineered today, nobody – not your Dealership, Insurance Company & or any other body shop— can give an exact price. Be very cautious of anyone who claims they can.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
We are open Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Additionally, we offer a 24 hour “Key Drop” service.
WILL THE PARTS BE ORDERED BEFORE I DROP OFF MY VEHICLE
FOR REPAIR?
Absolutely. We generally order your vehicle's parts at the time that we
write the estimate and schedule your vehicle for drop-off a couple of
days later unless your vehicle is found unsafe to drive, then we would
help you arrange for a rental vehicle as soon as possible. This enables
us to provide quicker turnaround time.
IF MY VEHICLE'S FRAME IS DAMAGED IS IT A TOTAL LOSS?
No. A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the
insurance company's determined value of your vehicle. Nowadays, most
cars are built using unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our
highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our state-of the-art
computer measuring system , can return your vehicle to its original
factory specifications. If it is determined that the frame section is
bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.
CAN YOU MATCH THE PAINT COLOR?
Today's modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly
specialized paints. Mayfield Collision Center has made a major investment in the finest
paint system available and constantly upgrades its technology and
equipment to ensure that each vehicle's paint matches. We take special
pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the
restoration process.

customer's visit to be a positive experience and will work diligently
towards that goal. We offer pick up and delivery service (in the local vicinity).

For your convenience, we have a national car rental Company right on our premises, so we can offer 1-stop shopping for you. And when your car is done, you simply return the rental car at our Shop
HOW CAN I KNOW WHAT IS BEING DONE TO MY CAR?
We offer a free service where you can actually watch your car repair process on-line. Additionally, you can be updated on the repair status & or contact us via e-mail or phone –your choice—We want you to be kept informed of the repair process as much as you want and how you want.
WHAT IS THE WARRANTY ON YOUR REPAIRS?
We proudly warranty all of our repairs in writing for the Lifetime of the Vehicle” Additionally, many of the Insurance Companies that we are the “Preferred Provider” for offer their warranty also. Many people find this an added security that a national Insurance Company offers this free additional protection. This additional warranty often is not available to you if you have your vehicle fixed at a non-approved Shop.
WHO DO I PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE TO?
It is Insurance Companies policies that you pay your deductible
directly to the repairs shop. This can be done either when you
are picking up your vehicle or when you drop it off – it’s your
choice. A word of caution: Be very weary of anyone offering to
“cover your deductible.” Basically that can only be done
one of two ways: By committing Insurance fraud –which we
wouldn’t encourage anyone to do, nor do we participate in; or,
by the Shop doing a lesser quality repair job and often not
advising you that they did that. Neither choice is very
appealing to most people.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your portion of the
repairs to your vehicle is with a major credit card. We accept Visa,
Mastercard, & Discover. Of course, cash and checks are always
welcome.
WHAT ARE BETTERMENT CHARGES?
Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires,
batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment
charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These
betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are
pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle.
AFTER MY CAR HAS BEEN FIXED, WHEN CAN I WASH MY CAR?
